RTP and volatility, explained

Two numbers shape how a slot feels to play: RTP and volatility.

RTP (return to player) is the theoretical share of all stakes a slot pays back over millions of spins. A game with an RTP around 96% returns about £96 for every £100 staked across its lifetime – but that’s a long-run average, not a promise for any single session. Volatility describes how wins are spread out:
